One of the things that make me very happy

I am a horse girl, I don't know if this is a term in English but in my language it describes a girl who's life basically consists out of horses. You wouldn't say it if you would see me, but secretly I would love to live that life. But I don't. They're still to many other things I want to do in a day. But still I get very happy just talking about riding a horse. And I remember the fantasy's I had about being a cowgirl in the wild west. And tomorrow I will be riding a horse! Finally! it's been a while and they're might even be more riding in the future. But for now I am over the moon with prospect of being near a horse tomorow!

Blue is in the air

A while ago i wrote that I would be redoing my bathroom (which actually consists out of two separate tiny rooms for the toilet and the shower). Anyway I am finally close to finishing! While considering a color I really fell for this bleu/turqoise colour. I thought it was a chic and warm at the same time warm color that would be perfect for revamping a bathroom. I am very happy with the result!  Now I find myself noticing this color everywhere.

It's only tuesday and all ready I can say that this is a great week!

Today I finally heard about the Job I applied for and... I got it! I am so happy! I was starting to look for other part time jobs, I just really wanted to have this one. It is nothing exiting and on no level related to MA studies in art history but that doesn't matter. It is in this little boutique in the old part of town in a small street near the canals. The girls working there are great and the clothes are amazing! I picked my work outfit this season today, a great suede and leather rusty brown skirt from Fillipa K and a silk nude top. I am so happy! 

I know I am taking baby steps but it feels like my life is slowly moving forward again. After being in a stand still position for so long I can't describe the feeling these little baby steps are giving me. I am taking control again of my life!
